Dr. Randy Johnson resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his wife Cheryl. They have four adult sons and 6 grandchildren.

Dr. Johnson has provided counselling services for over 35 years in various settings including private practice, director of pastoral care in a church, director of a not for profit community counselling agency, and post-secondary institutions and has served as a Human Resources Consultant for an international organization. He has been on television and radio as a guest speaker, conducted seminars and workshops, presented at conferences locally and internationally, including post-secondary institutions, corporations, community associations, and churches.

Dr. Johnson holds a PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary, a Master’s in Educational Psychology and a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Regina, Saskatchewan. Dr. Johnson is a registered Psychologist and active members in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), the Saskatchewan Psychological Association, the Psychology Association of Alberta (PAA).

Dr. Johnson has served on advisory boards and committees for various organizations such as the Calgary Dream Centre, Focus on the Family, Cornerstone of Hope, Learning Disabilities Association, Sexual Assault Community Support, Suicide Prevention, Family Violence Community Initiative, and private boards. He is the past president of Alberta Education Counsellors Association, and founder of ACCEPT (Anxiety Support and Recovery).
